Silas Yeo

Yo, I'm Silas, currently pursuing a diploma in Outdoor and Adventure Learning(DOAL) at Republic Polytechnic.

I'm a very loud person, so if you ever need someone to make an announcement, call for me and everyone would be able to hear it. I join DOAL was not really my first choice when selecting the course as I have a passion in music and sound. But I did not regret my decision to put DOAL as one of my choice as I really do enjoy the outdoors and enjoy the company when doing it.

Personally, I am a very sporty person. I love to play any sports be it basketball, volleyball and many more. But my favorite sport would be ultimate frisbee. I have been playing ultimate frisbee for the past 6 years. When I first picked up the skill to play, my brother taught me how to throw and play. And coming into ITE, I join the ultimate frisbee CCA. I was the President of the CCA and was able to conduct many training with my juniors. Being an exco has thought me many leadership skills and even how to plan for activities.

I also love to do adventurous stuff. When I was in secondary school, I was in the Boys' Brigade, and from there that was what sparked me to enjoy the outdoors. I was able to use the skills learned from Boys' Brigade and brought to what I'm studying now:"))
